The folding mechanism AND the foregrip have been modified to keep it slightly farther away from the firearm itself. This will (again) make the gun more comfortable to shoot.ģ. The SHF foregrip is wider that Serbu's grip. Serbu didn't disagree and offered that fins could be a possibility for future orders.Ģ. I did mention that the knurling seems to take a toll on some peoples' hands. This is definitely important- having a hand in front of the barrel leads to lost hands. He stated that the Serbu is knurled because it allows the shooter to have a better grip on the fore-grip. Mark Serbu discussed the knurling versus fins in our phone call. This will be more comfortable to shoot, as much of the recoil with these guns is transferred to the front hand.

Instead of Serbu's knurled foregrip, SHF's foregrip has smooth fins. I am NOT saying that SHF makes a bad gun, but I am reevaluating both guns based on the discussion I had today.ġ. I wrote up a review of the SHF and posted it at. Furthermore, I saw advantages in SHF's design- thus my next buy was for Safety Harbor. I gave them a try and found that they delivered when Serbu could not. After having some delivery problems with Serbu, a client mentioned Safety Harbor Firearms (SHF). Three of my more popular buys have been for AOW shotguns- the short types made by both Serbu (the 'Super-Shorty') and by Safety Harbor Firearms (the 'KEG-12'). I've run multiple group buys for different items.
